This Privacy Policy applies to:
- site visitors,
- calculator users,

- and others who interact with the Site.

This Privacy Policy applies only to the Site and our direct handling of personal information through the Site. It does not govern the privacy practices of third parties, including any separate licensed provider, carrier, plan administrator, or other outside party you may later choose to engage.
Effective date and updates
This Privacy Policy is effective as of the date listed above.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Site, our practices, legal requirements, or operational needs. When we make changes, we will post the updated version on this page and update the "Last Updated" date. If a change is material, we may provide additional notice on the Site where appropriate.
Categories of personal information we collect
We collect different categories of information depending on how you use the Site.
A. Information you choose to provide
If you request a report, ask a question, submit a form, or otherwise ask us to follow up, we may collect:
- identifiers, such as your name,
- contact information, such as your email address and phone number,
- business information, such as your business name,
- communications content, such as the contents of your message or request.
B. Calculator inputs
The calculator is designed so a user can view their number without being required to provide name, email address, or phone number.
A user may enter business and financial inputs into the calculator to generate a result. Those inputs may include information related to earnings, premium costs, team size, business structure, payroll-related assumptions, and similar commercial or financial inputs.
When those inputs are entered without direct identifiers, we treat them differently from contact details voluntarily submitted later to request a report, ask a question, or begin a follow-up conversation.
C. Automatically collected information
When you use the Site, we may automatically collect certain technical and usage information, such as:
- IP address,
- browser type,
- device type,
- operating system,
- language settings,
- approximate geolocation derived from IP,
- referring page or URL,
- pages viewed,
- request timestamps,
- and security or diagnostic log information.
D. Inferences
We may derive limited inferences from the information above, such as whether a visitor appears to be a solo owner or an owner with a team, or whether a visitor may be interested in a report request or team engagement.
How we collect it
We collect personal information in the following ways:
A. Directly from you
We collect information directly when you:
- use the calculator,
- submit a report request,
- submit a contact form,
- submit a privacy request,
- or otherwise provide information through the Site.
B. Automatically
We and our infrastructure providers may automatically collect certain information through server logs, cookies, similar technologies, security tooling, and related technical means used to operate and protect the Site.
For more detail about cookies and similar technologies, please see our Cookie Policy at /cookies.
Purposes for which we use personal information
We may use personal information for the following purposes:
- to generate the user's numbers and calculator outputs,
- to deliver a requested report,
- to scope a possible team engagement or follow-up request,
- to respond to inquiries and customer-service requests,
- to operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the Site,
- to detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, misuse, or security issues,
- to comply with legal obligations,
- to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims,
- and to document and process privacy choices and requests.
We do not use personal information collected through the Site to build a general sales list for cold outreach.
Providing a phone number or email address is not required to see a calculator result. Contact details are collected only if a user chooses to request more information, a report, or a follow-up.
Sale or sharing of personal information and targeted advertising, and how to opt out
We do not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
We also do not sell or share personal information as those terms are commonly used for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising under applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
If our practices change in the future in a way that triggers an opt-out right under applicable law, we will update this Privacy Policy and the privacy choices offered on the Site.
Users may still submit an opt-out request through our dedicated privacy-choice mechanism at /do-not-sell. We also recognize qualifying browser-based privacy preference signals as described below in this Privacy Policy.
Disclosures to service providers and third parties
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients when reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy:
- Hosting, infrastructure, and security providers that help us operate, secure, and deliver the Site.
- Technical service providers that support the calculator, form handling, diagnostics, or site operations.
- Professional advisors such as attorneys, accountants, auditors, or similar advisors when needed for legal, compliance, or operational reasons.
- Government authorities or other parties when required by law, subpoena, court order, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
- A separate licensed provider if you request follow-up, a report, referral handling, or next-step implementation related to the services described on the Site.
We describe that separate licensed provider by role, not by partner brand, on this Site. We do not disclose your information to that provider unless and until your actions or request make that disclosure appropriate.
We do not disclose personal information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your state of residence and applicable law, you may have the right to:
- know whether we process your personal information,
- request access to personal information we hold about you,
- request correction of inaccurate personal information,
- request deletion of personal information,
- opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, if applicable,
- opt out of targeted advertising, if applicable,
- and appeal certain request decisions where the law provides that right.
You may exercise rights through the on-site request mechanisms, including:
- the contact form at /contact, and
- the opt-out / privacy request form at /do-not-sell.
Verification
Before completing certain requests, we may need to verify your identity or authority to act. Verification may depend on the sensitivity of the request and the information already associated with you.
We may ask for information such as:
- your name,
- contact information previously provided to us,
- business name,
- and enough information to match your request to our records.
We will use verification information only for request-processing, recordkeeping, security, fraud prevention, and compliance purposes.
Response timing
We will respond within the time required by applicable law. If we need more time where permitted by law, we will notify you as required.
Authorized agents
If your state law allows authorized agents to act on your behalf, we may require proof of the agent's authority and may still require you to verify your identity directly with us where permitted or required by law.
Sensitive personal information
We do not seek to collect highly sensitive personal information unless it is reasonably necessary for a user-requested purpose.
Depending on how a user engages with the Site, some submitted information may be considered sensitive personal information under certain laws, including information that may relate to financial circumstances, benefit-related decisioning, or eligibility-related context.
If we collect sensitive personal information, we use it only for limited and appropriate purposes, such as:
- providing the requested calculation, report, or follow-up,
- verifying identity,
- protecting against fraud or misuse,
- complying with law,
- or carrying out other permitted business purposes.
We do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics for unrelated marketing purposes.
If a right to limit the use or disclosure of sensitive personal information applies under the law of your state, you may submit such a request through the privacy-request mechanism on the Site.
Data retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including to:
- provide the Site and requested outputs,
- respond to your requests,
- maintain appropriate business and legal records,
- protect the integrity and security of the Site,
- and comply with legal obligations.
Our general retention approach is guided by the principle that nothing is stored or shared until you request the full report or otherwise choose to provide identifying contact information.
Retention may vary by category:
- Anonymous or non-identified calculator activity: retained only as needed for site operation, security, troubleshooting, and reasonable internal analytics, where used.
- Contact-form and report-request information: retained for follow-up, request fulfillment, compliance, recordkeeping, and dispute-resolution purposes.
- Privacy request records: retained as needed to document compliance and preserve a record of the request and our response.
- Security and system logs: retained for a limited period appropriate to security, fraud prevention, infrastructure integrity, and legal compliance.
We may delete or de-identify information when it is no longer reasonably necessary for these purposes, subject to legal retention obligations and legitimate internal recordkeeping needs.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information appropriate to the nature of the information and the way the Site operates.
Those safeguards may include access controls, infrastructure security measures, transport security, logging, monitoring, and operational restrictions appropriate to the Site.
No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. For that reason, we cannot promise absolute security, and you provide information to the Site at your own risk.
California privacy rights (and other state addenda as applicable)
This section applies to California residents and, where applicable, to residents of other states that provide similar privacy rights.
California rights
California residents may have the right to:
- know what categories of personal information we collected,
- know the categories of sources from which it was collected,
- know the business or commercial purposes for collecting, using, or disclosing it,
- know the categories of third parties or service providers to whom it was disclosed,
- request access to specific pieces of personal information, subject to legal limitations,
- request deletion,
- request correction,
- and opt out of sale or sharing, if applicable.
California residents also have the right not to receive discriminatory treatment for exercising privacy rights.
Categories collected in the prior 12 months
In the prior 12 months, depending on the user's interaction with the Site, we may have collected the following categories of personal information:
- identifiers,
- contact information,
- commercial or business-related information,
- internet or network activity information,
- geolocation data derived from IP address,
- user-submitted calculator inputs,
- communications content,
- and limited inferences drawn from the information above.
Categories disclosed in the prior 12 months
In the prior 12 months, we may have disclosed the following categories of personal information for business purposes:
- identifiers,
- contact information,
- business or commercial information,
- internet or network activity information,
- communications content,
- and calculator or request-related information,
to the categories of recipients described in the "Disclosures to service providers and third parties" section above.
We do not believe we sell or share personal information within the meaning of California's "sale" or "sharing" definitions as part of current Site operations.
Other state rights
Residents of Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, and other states with applicable privacy laws may have similar rights, including rights to access, delete, correct, and opt out of certain processing. We will review and respond to requests in accordance with the law that applies to the request.
TCPA and phone-contact consent
If you choose to provide a phone number when requesting a report, asking a question, or requesting follow-up, you consent to being contacted by or on behalf of IHT Services regarding your request, your submitted information, and related next-step communications.
That contact may occur by phone call, voicemail, or text message, using the contact information you provide.
Providing a phone number is not required to use the calculator or to see your number.
Providing a phone number is also not consent to be placed on a general sales-calling list for merely running the calculator. The Site's promise is that a user is not required to provide contact details just to see a result, and running the calculator alone does not authorize outbound sales calls.
If you provide a phone number and later wish to opt out of calls or texts, you may follow the opt-out instructions in the message, ask during a call, or submit a request through the contact form at /contact or the privacy-choice form at /do-not-sell.
Cookies and tracking technologies
We may use cookies and similar technologies that are necessary to operate, secure, and deliver the Site.
We may also use technical logging or similar site-operation tools as needed for security, diagnostics, and functionality.
For more detail, please review our full Cookie Policy at /cookies.
Children's privacy
The Site is intended for adults and business owners. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children or minors through the Site.
If you believe a child has provided personal information through the Site, please contact us through the contact form so that we can review and delete the information where appropriate.

We may revise this Privacy Policy from time to time.
When we do, we will post the updated version on this page, change the "Last Updated" date at the top of the policy, and take any additional notice steps required by applicable law.
